I kind of agree with this guy, it’s happening, especially here in the netherlands. The people in the Cybergoth/EBM culture seem to be very interesting and different when you first glance upon them, but they are really nothing more then a bunch of arrogant know-it-alls who only whine on about the scene isn’t big enough, i don’t like the artists blablabla…
Thanks to all that, the scene here is starting to disappear, more and more people are turning to electro, psytrance and drum and bass because there is simply nothing going on anymore. You remember Summer Darkness (last winter)? That was just a small amount of people compared to what showed up 2 years before. Even CombiChrist are having less intense shows because thee crowd is changing. Here you are more popular then the ‘Gods of EBM’ bands that play here while they are on tour, even though they were considered the foindation of the scene some time ago.
People don’t buy stuff because interest is lost thanks to all the whining and bitching that goes around in a scene i was one very proud of to belong to….
Thanks for putting up the link, iit put things in perspective, for me at least. What do you think Sammi (i hope i spelled it right, if i didn’t, sorry) ? Or everybody else on here for that matter.
