Christmas Ball 2010 Tour

I am very happy to announce that I will be opening all shows of the Christmas Ball Tour 2010.
Tickets are 30,00 Euros (+ presale fees) in advance and this tour has been sold out on a number of dates in the past years, so you might want to get your tickets early.
The lineup is: Fields Of The Nephilim, Project Pitchfork, Laibach, Agonoize and Faderhead, except for Hannover where Fields Of The Nephilim won't play and a different headlining band will be announced in the future.
Needless to say: I am super stoked to be part of this and I can't wait for christmas now! Hope to see you all there!!

Front 242 Support Show & DAC

Just when I thought I'd spend the rest of the year relaxing in the studio, I got asked to support electro-pioneers Front 242 at their show at Matrix in Bochum on December 28, 2009. Can't say no to that, can you? So, if you are in the area: come check us out! Doors open at 7pm!
In other news the "Electric Paradise" club version of Horizon Born went up one higher to #4 on the German Alternative Charts (DAC) this week. One week left on the charts (songs have a maximum of 8 weeks), maybe it can even climb more :)

Horizon Born Club Edit climbs to No. 5 on DAC!

The "Electric Paradise" club version of Horizon Born has climbed up to the number 5 position in the German Alternative Charts (DAC) this week. Still a few weeks to go and the response to the track has been phenomenal!!

Back from DDT in Lahr!

Woohoo! What a truckload of fun! Daniel, Joe and I brought the energy and all the crazy people at the DDT in Lahr picked it up and partied hard, despite the early time of 20:30! Many thanks to everyone who was there for the show and also to everyone who was there later to party till 6am.
Of course we have a little video for you all on the video page!
Thanks to Gillian, Oli, Jens, Ines, Ina, Booker, Matze, the stage crew and everyone else involved in running the night! I'll be back for sure! :)

Show at Nocturnal Culture Night/Deutzen cancelled!

Hi everyone,
I am sad to announce that I will have to cancel the Faderhead show on Sept. 5th, 2009 at the Nocturnal Culture Night Festival in Deutzen.
I had a lot of trouble with wisdom teeth and nerves lately and will have to undergo surgery in my jaw on Thursday the 3rd - so I won't be able to sing/perform two days later.
My apologies to everyone who wanted to come out to see the performance, but this can not be delayed.
Hope to see you all at a different show in the future!

New EP coming in October 2009!

I am currently preparing the next Faderhead release. It will be an EP called "Horizon Born" and it will feature only ballads - so if you you liked "Exit Ghost", this one will be for you!
The release date for Europe and for the online release is October 23, 2009 and I'd like to ask you for a bit of help with the following question:
Which release medium do you prefer? Downloads? Vinyl? CD?

Mera Luna Show Announced!

FH2 sold out!

I was just informed that the last FH2 copies have been shipped out by L-Tracks Records. L-Tracks bought the remaining copies from Accession Records and they have been selling steadily at gigs and through mailorder stores ever since.
Thanks to everyone who bought a copy and if you don't have one and want one: they are still available in online stores around the world, but these are the last CDs that exist of FH2, so get them while you can!
To all the US folks who sent in emails regarding availability: these FH2 CDs (along with FH1 and FH3) have just been shipped to CDBaby, so you can pre-order them there.

Looking for dirty grrrls & bois for a new music video!

So, I decided to shoot a music video for Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois ...
It's still one of the most popular tracks I have and that's why we will be shooting on July 4 & 5, 2009 in Hamburg/Germany. Once again my partner-in-crime, the eccentric Jean-Jaques Ribbeaux will be director of photography and we are hoping to raise the bar once more and produce something that outdoes the TZDV video.
That means: we are looking for girls & boys, ladies & gentlemen, hotties & freaks to join us on July 4 or 5, 2009 (depending on what role you will have) here in Hamburg.
If you want to be in the video because you look sexy/cool/hot/weird/freaky, can dance really well or can do anything else that's extraordinary and spectacular, please send an email to casting@faderhead.com and make sure to include:
1) your full name
2) your age
3) where you live
4) 2-3 photos (portrait and full body please!) or a link to a YouTube video that shows you
5) any special skill you may have ("contortionist", "can fly", "can set myself on fire")
We can probably find all the people we need in Hamburg, so please understand that we will NOT be paying you and we won't be paying for your travel costs or (if you want to stay for one or more nights) for your accomodation/hotel if you are coming from outside of Hamburg.
Saturday, July 4, will be mainly used for the "vibe" and "story" scenes while Sunday, July 5, will be mainly used for performance/dance/crowd-scenes, so if you are a hot model/actress/weirdo, then we'll most likely need you on Saturday and if you are a dancer, you can pre-plan that you will be needed on Sunday.
Jean-Jacques and I have some cool ideas and found a great location right in the middle of Hamburg - so this video should look pretty damn cool once it is done (hopefully by mid/end July).

New summer shows announced!

I am excited to announce our very first shows in Cologne/Germany and Munich/Germany. The Cologne show will be on July 17th where we will be playing the E:O:D Amphi Pre-Party at the Essigfabrik. The Munich show will be on August 1st and we will be rocking the Backstage Club with my good buddy Soman!
More shows coming up and I'll keep you updated as soon as things are confirmed.

Back from Bochum and still not slowing down!
I just uploaded a video from our gig at Matrix in Bochum last Friday, so if you couldn't be there: head over to the video section to check out all the shenanigans that went down before, during and after the show!
The whole trip to Bochum was great so many thanks must go out to the Matrix crew aka: DJ Mike, Lightmaster Benjamin, Soundguy Jens, the Merchmaster (and -mistress!), Sam and Sandra. Even bigger thanks to everyone who came out to party with us. The Bochum crowd rocks!
